This lovely wine or liqueur decanter was made by German manufacture Frieling Zinn in 1960s or 1970s.
This manufacturer is known for producing high-quality, handcrafted 95% pewter (zinn) items, frequently featuring intricate, embossed, or engraved relief scenes.
This decanter is featuring a relief design from the ‘Lindenwirtin’ series. On one side there is a line from the famous German poem by the poet Rudolf Baumbach (1840–1905), ‘Keinen Tropfen im Becher mehr und der Beutel schlaff und leer’ (“Not a drop left in the cup, and the purse is limp and empty”), on the other side there is a genre scene outside a tavern.

CONDITION: the decanter is in good condition, without any damages.
MEASUREMENT:
17 cm height (with the lid)
11 cm diameter at the bottom
0,45 L capacity
Please do not put it in the dishwasher!
