It is really a rare find. This lamp was made by German manufacture Scheirholz / Plaue in 1967. This stamp was affixed in the year of the 150th anniversary of the factory’s foundation.
The lamp has a lot of decoration. The dancing group is called “The May Dances”.
The shade is very decorative in shape and have four lithophane panels. When the light is off the lithophane pictures are simply white. But a little miracle comes about when the lamp is on. The white pictures become alive in the dark room. This lamp has 4 different pictures.
On the top of the lamp there is also a figurines. It is extremally rare for such kind of a lamp.
The lamp is decorated with the hand made flowers. Everything is hand painted.
Excellent as a gift or as vintage home decoration.
PLEASE, pay attention that the shades should move around, so, please, do not fix it too tight.
CONDITION: the lamp is in good work condition. There is one CHIP on the rose on the base and 2 tiny chips on the small flowers on the shade.
