Rare Meito China Tea Set for 5 – Hand Painted Gold Decoration – Footed Teapot – Footed Cups – Demitasse Cups (70 ml) and Saucers

This stunning set was made by Japanese porcelain manufacture Nagoya Seito Sho, marked Meito Porzellan, in 1930s – 1950s.
Each item is made of high quality porcelain and has an adorable shape. Some items are footed and all of them have hand pained gold embossed decoration on on off cream-coloured porcelain.

The set consists of the footed teapot, footed creamer, footed sugar bowl, 5 footed cups and 5 saucers.
Because of the gold decoration, they must be washed very carefully.

CONDITION: all items are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The gold is intact nearly everywhere.
MEASUREMENT:
the teapot 16,5 cm (with the lid); capacity 350 ml
the creamer 13 cm (including the handle)
the sugar bowl 14 cm (with the lid)
the saucer 12,5 cm (diameter)
the cup 8 cm diameter and 5,8 cm height; capacity 70 ml

Please do not put them in the dishwasher!
