This rare and beautiful tea cup duo was made by famous German manufacture Rosenthal. The pattern is Undine. The cup was made between 1898 and 1906 and the saucer was a bit later.
Translucent fine porcelain.
Hand painted gold decoration.
Beautiful floral decor.
This cup duo is the great addition to your antique china collection.
I have more cups with the same pattern but different flowers. How do they look together you can see on the 9th picture.
Near Rosenthal porcelain mark you can find the mark of Josef Sticher. He was the owner of the shop which sold art and high quality porcelain and situated in the Elberfeld city. On the last picture you can see how the city looks in the 19th century. By the way, the Sticher house is still existed but unfortunately they no longer sell art.
CONDITION: the saucer is in good condition, without any damages. The cup has a tiny chip on the rim, that influenced the price.

the cup 8 cm (diameter) 5,5 cm (height); capacity 180 ml
Don’t put them in the dishwasher.
